Booking terms & conditions
The details that keep bookings clear and fair for everyone. Please read before confirming your booking.
This is a plain-language draft covering the booking rules built into the online booking system. It is a starting point, not legal advice — please have it reviewed before relying on it as your final published terms.
1. Availability & booking
Bookings are currently taken for Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00–20:00. Online bookings require at least 1 day's notice — same-day bookings can't be made through the website, so please get in touch directly for last-minute requests. A minimum booking length of 1 hour applies, with further time added in 30-minute increments.
2. Event details
To give an accurate quote and prepare the right supplies, the booking form asks for the type of event, the age group and approximate mix of attendees, and the full venue address and postcode.
3. Deposits & payment
A deposit is required to secure your date, payable securely online by card or by bank transfer. When paying by bank transfer, please use your booking reference as the payment reference.
4. Travel charges
A limited number of free miles are included with every booking; beyond that, a per-mile travel charge applies based on driving distance from our base postcode.
5. Cancellations & rescheduling
Please get in touch as early as possible if you need to cancel or move your booking. Deposits secure your date and time against other enquiries, so cancellations close to the event date may not be refundable; reach out and we'll always talk it through fairly.
6. On the day
Please have a suitable space ready — a shaded or indoor spot with a chair, access to water, and enough room for a small queue works best.
7. Health & safety
Only professional, cosmetic-grade face paints are used. Please flag any known skin sensitivities or allergies in advance or on the day.
8. Insurance & conduct
This business holds public liability insurance and an enhanced DBS check.
9. Photography
Photos may occasionally be taken of finished designs for portfolio and social media use. Just let us know if you'd prefer your event isn't photographed.
